The principle
This site sets no cookies, carries no analytics, and loads nothing from a third-party server. The typefaces are served by the site itself, precisely so that no visitor IP address goes anywhere else.
The only collection happens when you write to us, and it comes from you.
What is collected
Contact form: your name, your organisation if you provide it, your email address and your message. Your IP address and the date are attached to the message we receive, so that abuse can be established.
Newsletter: your email address alone.
Server logs: like any web server, ours records incoming requests, with the IP address, date, requested page and browser.
What it is used for
Messages are used to answer you, and for nothing else. Newsletter addresses are used to send that newsletter. Server logs serve the operation and security of the site.
The legal basis is legitimate interest for answering messages and for the logs, and your consent for the newsletter.
Who has access
The CartanLabs team, and nobody else. Your data is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed to a third party. It does not leave our own server, located in the European Union.
For how long
Contact messages are kept for the duration of the relationship, then [RETENTION PERIOD TO BE COMPLETED].
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Server logs are kept for a few weeks through automatic rotation.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction, its deletion, or object to its processing. One address: contact@cartanlabs.fr.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
